In the 15th minute of the match ALL BLACK got a corner. FC bjk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vic Panhuyse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peyton Costello made a great header on ALL BLACK's corner, it was just that FC bjk's Pepijn de Vlieger managed to reach the ball for a save. Rollo Christ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doron Krinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Doron Krinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rollo Christ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 0-2 became the score in the 20th minute when Doron Krinski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of ALL BLACK booed when FC bjk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepijn de Vlieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avishag Perutz in the 26th minute of play. Avishag Perutz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pepijn de Vlieger made a huge save. With his leg Pepijn de Vlieger managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when ALL BLACK's Avishag Perutz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Doron Krinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC bjk's supporters rose to their feet, but Doron Krinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rollo Christ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pepijn de Vlieger was a little too slow when Avishag Perutz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 45th play minutes Avishag Perutz shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Pepijn de Vlieger and just under the crossbar into goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute Peyton Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepijn de Vlieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Doron Krinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
