Victor Aristizábal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erel Serour having to interfere. Magen David's Aki Pego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avisar Tchuva in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Magen David's goal looked a bit too open when Yonathan Baner came free, but Aki Pego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erel Serour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Aristizábal in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Avisar Tchuva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aki Pego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Mariuss Cernītis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magen David fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Neve Lihi defense, Honi Dobrowolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erel Serour. The Neve Lihi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erel Serour should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yonathan Baner in the 31st minute of play forced Magen David's goalkeeper Aki Pego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Aristizábal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erel Serour having to make a save. After 38 played minutes Neve Lihi got a freekick which was hit by Zeke Gurevich.

Magen David made a substitution. Jedaiah Sakhai replaced Victor Aristizábal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jedaiah Sakhai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Rafael Avadon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neve Lihi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magen David the free kick. The supporters of Magen David booed when Neve Lihi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Avadon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedaiah Sakhai in the 58th minute of play forced Neve Lihi's goalkeeper Erel Serour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jedaiah Sakhai in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erel Serour saved Neve Lihi from getting behind. Erel Serour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedaiah Sakhai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erel Serour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedaiah Sakhai in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Magen David got a corner. Neve Lihi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferruccio Brunelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aki Pego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yonathan Baner in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Azarious Menkes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Magen David got a freekick which was hit by Mariuss Cernītis. Gershon Broitman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aki Pego. Magen David's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Magen David's goal looked a bit too open when Avisar Tchuva came free, but Aki Pego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Magen David was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dekel Glas to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Zeke Gurevich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aki Pego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
