Barnabas Clinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick in the 7th minute of play. Barnabas Clinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlisle Fenwick went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes in the game, Carlisle Fenwick fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barnabas Clinton having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Carlisle Fenwick had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barnabas Clinton. Perth Glory's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlisle Fenwick was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Barnabas Clinton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paco Everett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 20 minute of play. Paco Everett struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Barnabas Clinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Carlisle Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the last second Barnabas Clinton throw himself and got hold of the ball when Paco Everett in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Carlisle Fenwick scored 6-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barnabas Clinton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paco Everett was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Boroondara Milan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute, Paco Everett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlisle Fenwick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barnabas Clinton having to make a save. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Minter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
