With a little luck, Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling got control of the ball when Dallas Kuch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Liverpool East FC's goalkeeper Jonty Starling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Randell Gledden. With his leg Jonty Starling managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Mount Pleasant FC's Ollie Norwood fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mount Pleasant FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Liverpool East FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodney Buckland took the corner. The corner ended in Rodney Buckland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dallas Kuch got free with Jonty Starling in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ollie Norwood scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonty Starling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dallas Kuch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Jonty Starling when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Liverpool East FC's goalkeeper Jonty Starling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dallas Kuch. Stephan Wivell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aaron Ramsdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martyon Lorenz took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Ramsdal. Aaron Ramsdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Mount Pleasant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Wivell came free, but Aaron Ramsdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Stephan Wivell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool East FC and the Mount Pleasant FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Dallas Kuch came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mount Pleasant FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dallas Kuch couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martyon Lorenz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dallas Kuch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Pleasant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jonty Starling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Norwood in the 58th minute of play. Jonty Starling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Norwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A hard shot 61 in the game by Martyon Lorenz from a close distance when the talented Aaron Ramsdal managed to make a qualified save. Mount Pleasant FC's players were relieved. In the 65th minute, Ollie Norwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Pleasant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jonty Starling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Norwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonty Starling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ollie Norwood in the 77th minute of the match. Jonty Starling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dallas Kuch, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Jonty Starling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Kuch went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Ollie Norwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mount Pleasant FC's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navin Starling in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Liverpool East FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Martyon Lorenz hit a great ball. When Randell Gledden was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Randell Gledden hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Mount Pleasant FC's Dallas Kuch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonty Starling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Mount Pleasant FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
