With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paco Everett in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selim Tuğbay saved Knaggel FC from getting behind. In the 14th minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selim Tuğbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Stevens to maneuver through the defense. Carlisle Fenwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Humphry Chant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Diehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Paco Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knaggel FC's Selim Tuğbay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andres Stevens struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Selim Tuğbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humphry Chant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martyon Diehl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnes Garing in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Andres Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Stevens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selim Tuğbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Kvist came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boroondara Milan booed when Knaggel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Smalley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humphry Chant was the one to do the kick off. Selim Tuğbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 64 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Andres Stevens. Thanks to some nice moves Barnes Garing could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Martyon Diehl however easily saved by the left post. Selim Tuğbay came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick. But to his dismay, Carlisle Fenwick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Martyon Diehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humphry Chant, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Boroondara Milan's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnes Garing in the 91st minute of play. Selim Tuğbay came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Boroondara Milan's Carlisle Fenwick. But to his dismay, Carlisle Fenwick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Boroondara Milan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
