After 4 minutes of play, Disco Inferno FC's Peter Rosenboom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonty Starling was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Disco Inferno FC's Peter Rosenboom in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool East FC's goalie prevented a goal. Laurence Minne kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Peter Rosenboom struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jonty Starling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Disco Inferno FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Rosenboom in the 12th minute of play forced Liverpool East FC's goalkeeper Jonty Starling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonty Starling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Rosenboom in the 13th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Stephan Wivell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jonty Starling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Martyon Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Guevara kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Donovan Hogan fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liverpool East FC's protests and gave Donovan Hogan a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Liverpool East FC got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Hogan. Peter Rosenboom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Liverpool East FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Hustaz came free, but Jonty Starling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Rosenboom in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Liverpool East FC got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Hogan. In the 34th minute, Ike Pears made a precise shot to the right of Jonty Starling. Liverpool East FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 39 played minutes Liverpool East FC got a freekick which was hit by Barnes Muggleton. In the 41st minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonty Starling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonty Starling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Hustaz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute Ike Pears shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonty Starling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Liverpool East FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Rosenboom came free, but Jonty Starling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abelardo Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Jonty Starling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Dugald Carnduff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Peter Rosenboom in the 57th minute really tested Jonty Starling's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Wivell in the 58th minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Dale Gracey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Martyon Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool East FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Disco Inferno FC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Liverpool East FC got a freekick which was hit by Martyon Lorenz. In the 60th minute of the match, Abelardo Hustaz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonty Starling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ike Pears took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonty Starling. Jonty Starling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Jonty Starling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Hustaz in the 65th minute of play. Liverpool East FC made a substitution. Edmonds Johnson replaced Stephan Wivell. In the 68th minute of the match Disco Inferno FC got a corner. Liverpool East FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Rosenboom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Rosenboom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jonty Starling made a huge save. Jonty Starling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Hustaz in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Liverpool East FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Minne to maneuver through the defense. Peter Rosenboom struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonty Starling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Disco Inferno FC. After 76 played minutes Abelardo Hustaz rounded Liverpool East FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. 79 minutes into the match, Ike Pears notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling. Jonty Starling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Hustaz in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonty Starling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonty Starling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ike Pears went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Rick Quinane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonty Starling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Jonty Starling came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Disco Inferno FC's Peter Rosenboom. But to his dismay, Peter Rosenboom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. 93 minutes into the match, Liverpool East FC's goalkeeper Jonty Starling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Rosenboom. Jonty Starling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Hustaz in the 94th minute of the match. The Liverpool East FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Disco Inferno FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
