Liverpool East FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Amputees FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Liverpool East FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Roach took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Roach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonty Starling quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling got control of the ball when Carleton Howie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Roach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonty Starling made a huge save. Jonty Starling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carleton Howie's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Amputees FC's Carleton Howie got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carleton Howie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonty Starling made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephan Wivell made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Carleton Howie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carleton Howie in the 64th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Carleton Howie made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liverpool East FC's Jonty Starling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Amputees FC's Carleton Howie in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool East FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Carleton Howie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonty Starling was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
