Earle Franklin's late challenge caught a Darwin Saville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Earle Franklin helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Sochacki came free, but Dean Watts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Sochacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amputees FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Perandis was slow to take the kick. During this time Darwin Saville FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Darwin Saville FC's corner Kevin Perandis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dean Watts quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Bianu got free with Dean Watts in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Darwin Saville FC's Brandon Barker in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute Berke Crampton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Tinsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carman Tinsley came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Amputees FC's Berke Crampton. But to his dismay, Berke Crampton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Amputees FC's Dean Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Sochacki in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gigel Bianu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Darwin Saville FC's Gigel Bianu got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Earle Franklin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carman Tinsley skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Amputees FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Bianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Biggs Kernick kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Amputees FC defense, Bartosz Sochacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Watts. The Amputees FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Watts should have stopped the shot. Darwin Saville FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Perandis in the 59th minute. Berke Crampton charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berke Crampton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Bartosz Sochacki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Darwin Saville FC's Brandon Barker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dean Watts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Bianu in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Watts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amputees FC were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Darwin Saville FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Roach took the corner. 80 minutes into the match, Jan-Olof Kinell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dean Watts. Amputees FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Olof Kinell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Darwin Saville FC from getting a goal against them. Dean Watts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Bianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Barker in the 93rd minute of play forced Amputees FC's goalkeeper Dean Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Darwin Saville FC had played much better football throughout.
