The audience thought a goal was coming when Randell Gledden got free with Murdock Reisz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Benney Howie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murdock Reisz, 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Mount Pleasant FC's Ollie Norwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murdock Reisz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Murdock Reisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Gledden in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Dallas Kuch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Pleasant FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A sloppy throw-in by Zack Bennett in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mount Pleasant FC's Cain Barker. Murdock Reisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Kuch went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mount Pleasant FC's Aaron Ramsdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Allen in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Rutgers Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Ollie Norwood came free, but Murdock Reisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Randell Gledden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murdock Reisz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mount Pleasant FC's Dallas Kuch. But to his dismay, Dallas Kuch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. With a little luck, Rutgers Utd's Murdock Reisz got control of the ball when Randell Gledden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dallas Kuch kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mount Pleasant FC's Benney Howie got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Dallas Kuch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murdock Reisz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryden Miels made a kick off. Murdock Reisz came out of the goal and Dallas Kuch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Mount Pleasant FC were the better team. Mount Pleasant FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
