The Club Deportivo Diagüita fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Club Deportivo Diagüita's Mathieu De Winter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Visen Allu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Lepe came out and tried to block the shot, but Visen Allu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 8th minute. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Hedlund in the 12th minute of the match. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Visen Allu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mariano Lepe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Peake in the 21st minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Hedlund in the 32nd minute of the match. Mariano Lepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Visen Allu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Hedlund in the 42nd minute of play. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Han Ying charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Han Ying the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Han Ying hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Visen Allu made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Diagüita's goal looked a bit too open when Visen Allu came free, but Mariano Lepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Visen Allu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Lepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Visen Allu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visen Allu to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Lepe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Altermundi FC's Sergiu Zgrăbunţa was substituted for Jude Hylton. 83 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Lepe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes Club Deportivo Diagüita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Recai Taykurt who took care of the corner kick. Altermundi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Recai Taykurt in the 87th minute. Altermundi FC's Seran Torrijo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mariano Lepe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Diego Renard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Deportivo Diagüita were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
