Saverio Chuse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dom Mingo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunamis's supporters rose to their feet, but Dom Mingo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Chuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Virgilio Laurendi replaced Juan Abascal. In the 64th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Peyo to maneuver through the defense. Dunamis's Cristian Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dunamis's Saturnino Asteri was substituted for Clemente Sustrai. Dunamis's Niceto Cordarell was substituted for Urbano Lartaun. 89 minutes into the match, Dunamis's Dom Mingo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Chuse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Saverio Chuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Ruisko. When the match was over Dunamis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Águilas Poblanas throughout the match.
