Wilbur Hyde made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tony Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Carlo Greenberg hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Wilbur Hyde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New England Minas had won after a very even match.
