The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Illinois Bluewaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. 冯永宽 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 冯永宽 charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 冯永宽 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Illinois Bluewaters's 冯永宽 got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Şeray Gürgen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Myles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Illinois Bluewaters's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Van Clynenbreugel came free, but Roger Myles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ACC Mavericks's Tuan Eubanks got a free kick in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Danilo Maranhense could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Bob Hyatt however easily saved by the left post. Danilo Maranhense scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bob Hyatt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nerio Lopez de Toro's late challenge caught a Illinois Bluewaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nerio Lopez de Toro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ACC Mavericks getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nerio Lopez de Toro hit a great ball. The supporters of ACC Mavericks booed when Illinois Bluewaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Harding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nerio Lopez de Toro to make the kick off. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute 冯永宽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Hyatt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tuan Eubanks got free in front of the goal in the 63rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Roger Myles was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 冯永宽 in the 64th minute of play. Illinois Bluewaters's 冯永宽 managed to work through ACC Mavericks's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 冯永宽 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Bob Hyatt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 冯永宽's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Illinois Bluewaters's zone, Nerio Lopez de Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Myles came out of the goal and Nerio Lopez de Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Myles made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Nerio Lopez de Toro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 70 minutes, 冯永宽 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Illinois Bluewaters's supporters crossed their fingers, but 冯永宽 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Aare Fahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Maranhense scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bob Hyatt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tuan Eubanks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Roger Myles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bob Hyatt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 冯永宽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Steve Van Clynenbreugel fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACC Mavericks's protests and gave Steve Van Clynenbreugel a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes ACC Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Steve Van Clynenbreugel. When 冯永宽 came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Illinois Bluewaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 冯永宽 couldn't finish the play.
