Shaine Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billie Jean King Spirit's Robert Billington got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Andrew James was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Błękitny Grom the free kick. After 55 played minutes Billie Jean King Spirit got a freekick which was hit by Shaine Gordon. After 57 played minutes Błękitny Grom got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Sochacki. After having played for 60 minutes, Jerzy Budzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Błękitny Grom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Budzynski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Damaski couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, David Roberts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billie Jean King Spirit's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Błękitny Grom the free kick.
