Shane Warne's late challenge caught a Galo do Japi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shane Warne helped the player get up and apologised. Shane Warne hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Galo do Japi's Nilmar Mota in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half Galo do Japi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Maksymilian Olejniczak made the kick off in the second half. Luciano Rodríguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Zachary Rakoski made a huge save.
