In the 3rd minute Erhan Ascı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gothic Souls were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Liver Bird's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Van Dijk took the corner. In the 10th minute of the match Gothic Souls got a corner. Liver Bird's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Van Dijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erhan Ascı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erhan Ascı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Verlengia having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Ascı came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Nathaniel Howald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liver Bird's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gothic Souls the free kick. Pat Eggers in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lemi Uğurlubey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute of the match, Pat Eggers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig Verlengia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhan Ascı in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Ascı came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Erhan Ascı made a precise shot to the right of Stig Verlengia. Liver Bird's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 41 minutes of play, Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Verlengia was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Gunnar Fridli in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gothic Souls's D.J. 赵云. In the 47th minute Erhan Ascı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erhan Ascı to make the kick off. Lemi Uğurlubey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pat Eggers's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Gunnar Fridli kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Liver Bird's zone, Erhan Ascı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Verlengia came out of the goal and Erhan Ascı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Erhan Ascı recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Verlengia. Erhan Ascı showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Gothic Souls's Alexander Perpiñán was substituted for Van Dijk. 66 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Ascı came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erhan Ascı might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Verlengia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erhan Ascı ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Erhan Ascı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liver Bird made a substitution. Jacques La Rosa replaced Gunnar Fridli. In the 78th minute, Erhan Ascı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Howald in the 83rd minute of play forced Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Lemi Uğurlubey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Olaf Babicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Verlengia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gothic Souls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Babicki in the 89th minute. A nice corner shot did that Olaf Babicki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stig Verlengia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Liver Bird's zone, Erhan Ascı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Verlengia came out of the goal and Erhan Ascı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
Gothic Souls's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
