The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulryk Miazga got free with Håkan Gulliksson in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Śląsk Bytom were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after PKS Marymont Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlo Rapone took the corner. The corner led Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Rapone to fire away a dangerous shot which Håkan Gulliksson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by PKS Marymont Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlo Rapone was slow to take the kick. During this time Śląsk Bytom's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Carlo Rapone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PKS Marymont Warszawa's Håkan Gulliksson did a great save. In the 24th minute of the match, Carlo Monni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Gulliksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. PKS Marymont Warszawa's Juliusz Hyska managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlo Rapone in the 26 minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Gerlach in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Brama saved Śląsk Bytom from getting behind. Håkan Gulliksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zawisza Obronny, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zawisza Obronny in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Gulliksson saved PKS Marymont Warszawa from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Carlo Monni took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Håkan Gulliksson to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Håkan Gulliksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Håkan Gulliksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Miazga in the 38th minute of the match. Håkan Gulliksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Miazga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Gulliksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Rapone in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to PKS Marymont Warszawa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Dziatkowicz hit a great ball. Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Rapone got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the last second Håkan Gulliksson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ulryk Miazga in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. PKS Marymont Warszawa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Hakkı Elçin scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Gulliksson, making the score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Zawisza Obronny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Gulliksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Monni, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Monni in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Gulliksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Śląsk Bytom's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlo Rapone in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, PKS Marymont Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Monni came free, but Håkan Gulliksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Gulliksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Monni in the 65th minute of the match. Carlo Rapone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Håkan Gulliksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zawisza Obronny in the 72nd minute of play forced PKS Marymont Warszawa's goalkeeper Håkan Gulliksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Zawisza Obronny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Håkan Gulliksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Śląsk Bytom made a substitution. Stefan Danisiewicz replaced Roch Zajonc. Håkan Gulliksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Monni's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. PKS Marymont Warszawa's Hieronim Rosiewicz was substituted for Tomasz Staník. Śląsk Bytom's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Carlo Monni sped through PKS Marymont Warszawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Håkan Gulliksson. The supporters of Śląsk Bytom booed when PKS Marymont Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Bronder didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 90th minute of the match Witalis Bronder completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Witalis Bronder a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Witalis Bronder kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee gave Śląsk Bytom a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlo Monni, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PKS Marymont Warszawa's Håkan Gulliksson. 8-0. After 97 minutes of play, Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Monni made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Gulliksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 100th minute Carlo Monni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Gulliksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Śląsk Bytom walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
