The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Rydz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bernard Kiepski hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Emil Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pazura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Charlie Vercalsteren in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C. Sosnowiec's Teofil Kociniewski. INTER Sosnowiec's Jan Kisielka got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Pazura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Moizuk in the 27th minute of play. Jan Pazura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Villegas in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, INTER Sosnowiec's Jan Kisielka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Pazura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 40th minute, Jan Kisielka made a precise shot to the right of Jan Pazura. F.C. Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Leopoldo Villegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Pazura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Villegas ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

INTER Sosnowiec made a substitution. Leszek Gniech replaced Emil Literski. In the 58th minute, INTER Sosnowiec's Marian Moizuk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Pazura. Jan Pazura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Leszek Gniech scored 0-8 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Pazura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. INTER Sosnowiec made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Swoboda replaced Herbert Koperski. 68 minutes into the game, Charlie Vercalsteren threw the ball into play from the sideline. F.C. Sosnowiec's Bartosz Jaroszewicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Kisielka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Pazura. Maciej Harbaszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Jan Pazura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Villegas. F.C. Sosnowiec's Jan Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Oleszak in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Jan Kisielka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan Pazura. Jan Kisielka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. After 88 minutes of play, INTER Sosnowiec's Leszek Gniech made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Pazura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abuzer Uzman made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.C. Sosnowiec's Mikolaj Dlugi. After having played for 93 minutes, Leopoldo Villegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Villegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the F.C. Sosnowiec defense, Jan Kisielka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Pazura. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Pazura should have stopped the shot. INTER Sosnowiec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
