In the 21st minute ROSÁRIO SPORT were awarded a corner. Dean Harvey went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Motta in the 22nd minute of the match. Belmiro Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Harvey in the 25th minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tostão Motta 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dean Harvey managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSÁRIO SPORT's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Harvey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dean Harvey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Montenegro having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Dean Harvey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belmiro Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dean Harvey made a kick off. If Horacio Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Tite Pombo came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tite Pombo in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Eduardo Langarica threw the ball into play from the sideline. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Diego Paranaense quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Ture Möllgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Dean Harvey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Belmiro Montenegro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dean Harvey got free with Belmiro Montenegro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Harvey came free, but Belmiro Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Elg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Alf Elg. With a little luck, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Belmiro Montenegro got control of the ball when Dean Harvey tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ROSÁRIO SPORT eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
