In the 14th minute of the match Ríver Late got a corner. Sociedad Anónima's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 14 minutes, Santiago García mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sociedad Anónima and the Ríver Late players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Sociedad Anónima got a freekick which was hit by Santiago García. Serhat Oytunç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Sorriva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blas Benites charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Benites the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Serhat Oytunç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Antonio Sorriva made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Benites stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ríver Late's Zarando Calva got control of the ball when Villarreal Ubach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ríver Late made a substitution. Villarreal Ubach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Marino Malet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zarando Calva. That made the score 2-4 in the 89 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sociedad Anónima eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
