Belasko Fueyo replaced Herbert Spencer. Ríver Late's Guilllermo Asencion was substituted for Charly Batista. 65 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's Serhat Oytunç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Marcantonio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Xavies Muñagorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Marcantonio came out of the goal and Xavies Muñagorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Alexander Driel with Chaime Delgadillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Xavies Muñagorri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfonso Marcantonio came out and tried to block the shot, but Xavies Muñagorri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 96th minute.
