Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Swift GTi FDC's Neycho Sergiev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Neycho Sergiev scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santana Armada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Neycho Sergiev came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Swift GTi FDC booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Couturier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Swift GTi FDC's Urko Vinuesa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santana Armada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Swift GTi FDC's Pavel Cosoroabă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Swift GTi FDC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Torsten Despang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santana Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Wágner Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Cosoroabă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Recife in the 34th minute of play forced Swift GTi FDC's goalkeeper Pavel Cosoroabă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santana Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neycho Sergiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Alagoano came free, but Santana Armada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santana Armada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neycho Sergiev's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Swift GTi FDC's Pavel Cosoroabă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Recife in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Neycho Sergiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swift GTi FDC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neycho Sergiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vancouver Reds's Eugênio Rocha was substituted for Louie Mulford. Boyd Couturier got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wágner Recife. Pavel Cosoroabă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Recife in the 66th minute of play. Neycho Sergiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santana Armada having to interfere. Neycho Sergiev might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santana Armada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neycho Sergiev ran back to his position shaking his head. Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Reds from getting a goal against them. Pavel Cosoroabă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toussaint Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada got control of the ball when Neycho Sergiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neycho Sergiev scored 0-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santana Armada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Art Rhoades replaced Rodrigo Ferdinand. Swift GTi FDC's Pavel Cosoroabă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toussaint Alvarez in the 89th minute of play. Neycho Sergiev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santana Armada having to make a save. Pavel Cosoroabă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Rhoades in the 94th minute of the match. The Vancouver Reds supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Swift GTi FDC's performance. The match ended with a win for Swift GTi FDC.
