The audience thought a goal was coming when Tabor Canillas got free with Videl Mauriz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Xayvion Penas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Xayvion Penas got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Juan Corredor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estavan Virto was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Juan Corredor in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amor Amore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bale came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Playa Malvín defense, Juan Corredor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Estavan Virto. The Playa Malvín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Estavan Virto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Corredor in the 32nd minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Estavan Virto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabor Canillas came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Videl Mauriz could save by the left post. Videl Mauriz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Tabor Canillas sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Tabor Canillas rounded MILLONARIOS FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Videl Mauriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Araoz Miñano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Xayvion Penas. MILLONARIOS FC's attentive Ruud van Nistelrooij managed to snatch the ball when Jean-Claude Van Damme made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Juan Corredor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Corredor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Playa Malvín's Andrew Tate seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrew Tate the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Playa Malvín protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrew Tate had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Playa Malvín! Playa Malvín:s Estavan Virto showed great skill when he stopped Juan Corredor:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Juan Corredor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estavan Virto was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estavan Virto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MILLONARIOS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MILLONARIOS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
