After 5 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Sander was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Juan Corredor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Sander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Fire Breathers FC got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Brieba. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Juan Corredor managed to get in a good position for a shot. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Corredor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Sander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fire Breathers FC's Javiero Brieba got a free kick in the 19th minute. André Sander made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Juan Corredor sent off a good shot on target. Fernado Sisalde hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, Fire Breathers FC's Osmundo Careaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Videl Mauriz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fire Breathers FC reached it. 27 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerazan Lluba came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silban Argomedo's late challenge caught a Fire Breathers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silban Argomedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silban Argomedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Xose Zabarte hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Corredor got free with André Sander in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petri Arberas during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Petri Arberas hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper André Sander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silban Argomedo. MILLONARIOS FC's Videl Mauriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmundo Careaga in the 40th minute of play. Osmundo Careaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Videl Mauriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goizeder Parserises in the 43rd minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Videl Mauriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerazan Lluba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Sander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Corredor went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the game, Juan Corredor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. André Sander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fire Breathers FC! After 67 minutes, Xose Zabarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Breathers FC and the MILLONARIOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Sander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Corredor, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Juan Corredor came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Corredor couldn't finish the play. Theo Hernández hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MILLONARIOS FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fire Breathers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
