Alec Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Allred, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zackary Allred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. REFTS's Alec Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Daniel in the 17th minute of play. When Tad Rush was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. A collision led to REFTS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tad Rush hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Troy Croft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Zackary Allred left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 27 minutes, Wesley Daniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Machine and the REFTS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Daniel. The supporters of Green Machine booed when REFTS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Doe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute of the match Jimmy Helberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alec Mann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Green Machine's Rufus Bryant got control of the ball when Bryan Dickinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 52 played minutes Zackary Allred rounded REFTS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. REFTS's Bryan Dickinson got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
