Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pawel Swoboda got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes, Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Stanislaw Gerlach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfred Poreda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec reached it. Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Janusz Zawadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Jaworski in the 10th minute of play. SC Hitmen's Alfred Poreda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Turak in the 13th minute of play. Ksawery Pstrongowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miromir Turak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Poreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ksawery Pstrongowski's late challenge caught a SC Hitmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ksawery Pstrongowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Hitmen booed when Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Pstrongowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Pawel Swoboda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Janusz Zawadzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pawel Swoboda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Zawadzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, SC Hitmen's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Pstrongowski came free, but Alfred Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Niemojewski got free with Janusz Zawadzki in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Janusz Zawadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Swoboda in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute, Dawid Wejta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Janusz Zawadzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napoleon Niemojewski. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ksawery Pstrongowski made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Damian Iwaszko managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Hitmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Iwaszko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Zawadzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Janusz Zawadzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Swoboda in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to SC Hitmen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zachariasz Jarosz hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Pawel Swoboda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Hitmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Swoboda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Pawel Swoboda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Janusz Zawadzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ksawery Pstrongowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napoleon Niemojewski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Benedykt Jaroch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Swoboda in the 71st minute of play forced Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Janusz Zawadzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pawel Swoboda sped through Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Janusz Zawadzki. Gustaw Jaworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Janusz Zawadzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janusz Zawadzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Swoboda in the 80th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Swoboda came free, but Janusz Zawadzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janusz Zawadzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Jaworski in the 90th minute of play. A hard shot by Stanislaw Gerlach from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Alfred Poreda's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zagłębie 1906 Sosnowiec's Ksawery Pstrongowski got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the SC Hitmen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
