Olivier Atton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Sergio Van Houtvin made a huge save. Anatole Judas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold De Witte in the 20th minute of play. Anatole Judas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold De Witte in the 20th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre-Loup Auvinet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Pierre-Loup Auvinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Van Houtvin came out of the goal and Pierre-Loup Auvinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jorne De Ceuster in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by France's Anthony Moalic. France made a substitution. Raphaël Varane replaced Marius Tresor. Belgium's Binjamin Gilis was substituted for Harold De Witte. France's Dave Lavault was substituted for Pierre-Loup Auvinet. France's Augustin Fournel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertrand Boumans, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Belgium's Sergio Van Houtvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yassine Benzia in the 74th minute of play. Raphaël Varane kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thibaut Poupard hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Binjamin Gilis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anatole Judas. The goal made the score 2-1. Anthony Moalic made a great header on France's corner, it was just that Belgium's Sergio Van Houtvin managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, France's Augustin Fournel got a free kick in the 93rd minute.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Belgium players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for France.
