Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Audris Eksts started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Kaijo Kallas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guntars Dzirkalis. Kaijo Kallas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, U21 Estonia's Peep Rank made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guntars Dzirkalis was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, U21 Latvia's Guntars Dzirkalis got control of the ball when Jaanek Urm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Urm came free, but Guntars Dzirkalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guntars Dzirkalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Urm in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Urm came free, but Guntars Dzirkalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiur Reinumägi in the 29th minute of play forced U21 Latvia's goalkeeper Guntars Dzirkalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaanek Urm got free with Guntars Dzirkalis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kiur Reinumägi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guntars Dzirkalis having to interfere. Jaanek Urm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peep Rank received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guntars Dzirkalis came out and tried to block the shot, but Peep Rank slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Urm came free, but Guntars Dzirkalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kiur Reinumägi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guntars Dzirkalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaijo Kallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaanek Urm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kiur Reinumägi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guntars Dzirkalis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 54 minutes into the game, U21 Estonia's Mait Müür nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guntars Dzirkalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 57th minute Jaanek Urm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guntars Dzirkalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Jaanek Urm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guntars Dzirkalis. U21 Latvia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaanek Urm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 60 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Urm came free, but Guntars Dzirkalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santis Saklaurs during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guntars Dzirkalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Urm in the 66th minute of the match. Guntars Dzirkalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaijo Kallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guntars Dzirkalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Urm in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Latvia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gustavs Termanis hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, U21 Estonia's Jaanek Urm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guntars Dzirkalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a rather tough play, U21 Latvia's Audris Eksts got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, U21 Latvia's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Urm came free, but Guntars Dzirkalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes U21 Latvia got a freekick which was hit by Audris Eksts. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Estonia had played much better football throughout.
