Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartosz Dranka started the match with the kick off. Teodosio Astorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Dranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Teodosio Astorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Dranka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to U21 Chile's Jonatan Villacosta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Teodosio Astorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Dranka in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Bucyki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Poland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Chile the free kick. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Wieslaw Bucyki hit a great ball. Teodosio Astorga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Dranka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartosz Dranka took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodosio Astorga. Teodosio Astorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Hanamichi Sakuragi made in the 28th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vasco Cardenas however managed to control. The supporters of U21 Chile booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Wiatrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartosz Dranka might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Astorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartosz Dranka ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodosio Astorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Dranka, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Bartosz Dranka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Astorga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kojiro Hyuga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zygmunt Miodek kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Teodosio Astorga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartosz Dranka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Eugeniusz Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kojiro Hyuga struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Teobald Swoboda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Chile. Ludomil Fleischer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Aaron Larraín's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobald Swoboda was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Cardenas in the 74th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Teobald Swoboda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Larraín took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobald Swoboda. Teobald Swoboda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 84 minutes into the game, U21 Chile's Aaron Larraín nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teobald Swoboda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Teobald Swoboda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Cardenas in the 87th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, U21 Chile's Vasco Cardenas made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobald Swoboda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobald Swoboda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Larraín in the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Poland walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
