Seating: 3316, VIP seats: 288) After a rather tough play, U21 Czech Republic's Tomáš Čermák got a free kick in the 10th minute. Adyasarana Rao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bělohlávek in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adinatha Khandelwal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxmilian Indra was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, U21 India's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bělohlávek came free, but Adyasarana Rao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 India's Arthadarsin Mahal got a free kick in the 17th minute. Adyasarana Rao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lubomír Hůlka, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Maxmilian Indra made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Adinatha Khandelwal sent off a good shot on target. Adinatha Khandelwal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthadarsin Mahal got free with Maxmilian Indra in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Bělohlávek hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes of play, U21 Czech Republic's Verner Knížek made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adyasarana Rao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Bělohlávek struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adyasarana Rao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Czech Republic. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Daniel Bělohlávek made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Deepti Krishnan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxmilian Indra was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Adyasarana Rao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lubomír Hůlka in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 India's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivo Toth was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Czech Republic's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Bělohlávek was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 68 minutes in the game, Verner Knížek dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. U21 Czech Republic's Jan Jan was substituted for Tomáš Čermák. U21 Czech Republic's Jiří Zukal was substituted for Daniel Bělohlávek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthadarsin Mahal in the 71st minute of play forced U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Maxmilian Indra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 India's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivo Toth was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Czech Republic's players had a chance to rest. U21 India's James Wilson was substituted for Adinatha Khandelwal. With an all-out effort, U21 Czech Republic's Adyasarana Rao threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jiří Zukal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. U21 Czech Republic's Jiří Zukal got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes U21 Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Jiří Zukal. U21 India's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Jiří Zukal scored to the left of an out of position Adyasarana Rao, making the score, 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Czech Republic walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
