Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The supporters of U21 France booed when U21 Greece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Tolis Stathopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakim Rouyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aggelos Petimezakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Vermorel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31stth minute of the game Tolis Stathopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 France's Hakim Rouyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 France's Hakim Rouyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save U21 France from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes U21 France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jordan Henderson who took care of the corner kick.
