Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lin Yun Fan in the 5th minute of the match. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 8th minute of play. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes Ballet Azul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Turgut Soyuer who took care of the corner kick. Turgut Soyuer made a great header on Chinese CJ Youth Academy's corner, it was just that Ballet Azul's Gino Tonić managed to reach the ball for a save. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lin Yun Fan in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danell Mackiathan in the 14th minute of play forced Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Tonić made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Turgut Soyuer sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Gino Tonić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Turgut Soyuer. After a defensive mix-up in Chinese CJ Youth Academy's zone, Alto Gøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Abad came out of the goal and Alto Gøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ballet Azul's Gino Tonić got control of the ball when Turgut Soyuer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Turgut Soyuer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Tonić having to interfere. In the 31st minute Danell Mackiathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Tonić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Ballet Azul were awarded a corner. Cristián Fenieux went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Gino Tonić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danell Mackiathan in the 42nd minute of play forced Ballet Azul's goalkeeper Gino Tonić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alto Gøl took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Abad. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Romeo Passi got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Ballet Azul were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Turgut Soyuer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Ballet Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Rojas to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Turgut Soyuer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Tonić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alto Gøl might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Abad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alto Gøl ran back to his position shaking his head. Eladio Ulloa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Callejas in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Wincent Jaroch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting a goal against them. The Ballet Azul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
