An unexpectedly hard shot by Xaime Urrechua in the 4th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper João Paulo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Handley Roach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Paulo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brecht Dheedene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19thth minute of the game Han Xi Guang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Família Ressaca MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wojciech Rutecki in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Pfeffer. Taniel Kips hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Han Xi Guang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Xi Guang in the 35th minute of play. Brecht Dheedene who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of João Paulo Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Família Ressaca MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Oswald Griese was slow to take the kick. During this time Cimarrones F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54th minute, Xaime Urrechua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Han Xi Guang took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themba Takane. Themba Takane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goalkeeper Themba Takane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Han Xi Guang. Família Ressaca MZ's João Paulo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brecht Dheedene in the 68th minute of play. Cimarrones F.C.'s Darwin Torres was substituted for Taniel Kips. In the 74th minute of the game Eloy Janez made a throw-in which Darwin Torres played forward. After a rather tough play, Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Han Xi Guang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Themba Takane saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Haritz Trespuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themba Takane having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Cimarrones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Handley Roach.
