FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Granberg in the 38th minute of play. Joachim Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Sven-Åke Granberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Bennis were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Shi Li Sha made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sven-Åke Granberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Holmgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Berend Hermensen fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hackspett U21's protests and gave Berend Hermensen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bennis booed when FC Hackspett U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berend Hermensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Hackspett U21 from getting a goal against them. After 61 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Sabóia. Bennis's Pål Uggstedt was substituted for Cai Cheng Sang. Bennis's Aloísio Senna was substituted for Edwin Söderqvist. In the 62nd minute, Hernani Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Åke Granberg in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the game, Göran Ekelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hackspett U21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bennis the free kick. Göran Ekelund kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match, Pål Uggstedt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joachim Holmgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Göran Ekelund got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Göran Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Kilberg. In the 82nd minute, one of FC Hackspett U21:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Hackspett U21. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Bennis. Lin Xuan Hai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joachim Holmgren. 1-4. Wilhelm Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Miromir Szostak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hackspett U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Szostak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Bennis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Hackspett U21 throughout the match.
