Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paio York started the match with the kick off. Paulo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Herberto Ribas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duarte Duarte. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Francisco Taveira sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Campos in the 8th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Leal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Lencastre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Nicolas Balsemão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Paio York fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duarte Duarte, passed just outside the right post. Paio York's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting a goal against them. Leal Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Taveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Duarte Duarte made a huge save. The supporters of Portugal booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Paio York came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Monsanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Monsanto in the 67th minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Filinto Ferro hit a great ball. Portugal's Hermenegildo Ventura was substituted for Francisco Taveira. The supporters of Portugal booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paio York in the 71st minute of play. Duarte Duarte came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Paio York. But to his dismay, Paio York quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Duarte Duarte didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portugal's Paio York shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 84 minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filipe Viveiros who took care of the corner kick. 86 minutes into the match, Portugal's Paio York sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Leal Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Lencastre. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. Duarte Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paio York, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Brás's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Brás helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper Duarte Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duarte Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paio York went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Portugal fully deserved thier win.
