The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damiano Santagata succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. 6 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Santagata came free, but Apostol Sokolov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Apostol Sokolov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Montrel Guisla in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Yavuz Balabanov. Ottó Fejes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's zone, Ottó Fejes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Muslera came out of the goal and Ottó Fejes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Monitor Huáscar defense, Damiano Santagata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostol Sokolov. The Monitor Huáscar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostol Sokolov should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Fejes came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ottó Fejes notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Nando Muslera. Nando Muslera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Fejes came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Verheijden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ottó Fejes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Nando Muslera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ottó Fejes's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th match minute, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşin Hekimbaşı to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

54 minutes into the game, Afşin Hekimbaşı threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monitor Huáscar's Montrel Guisla quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Monitor Huáscar's attentive Montrel Guisla managed to snatch the ball when Afşin Hekimbaşı made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Monitor Huáscar's Apostol Sokolov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Santagata in the 61st minute of play. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Damiano Santagata got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Güney Olcay was substituted for Lenny Verheijden. Apostol Sokolov came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Mario Zapata. But to his dismay, Mario Zapata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Rico in the 79th minute of play forced Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Monitor Huáscar's Nando Muslera threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chiquito Rico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Nando Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Rico in the 89th minute of play.
