In the 3rd minute, Marco Verratti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yassine Bounou made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Witold Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. André Onana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Niculae went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Marius Niculae struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. André Onana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACe Aimaro Juniors. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Niculae in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Onana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Kuszczak came free, but Yassine Bounou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yassine Bounou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Kuszczak in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Poland's goalkeeper André Onana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Lech Czaplicki notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of U21 Poland's André Onana. André Onana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lech Czaplicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Onana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Kuszczak in the 47th minute of play forced ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalkeeper Yassine Bounou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakub Kuszczak was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Andrychowski to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ACe Aimaro Juniors defense, Jakub Kuszczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yassine Bounou. The ACe Aimaro Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yassine Bounou should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Jakub Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yassine Bounou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Kissel came free, but Yassine Bounou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Black Remi hit a great ball. U21 Poland's Grzegorz Czerwinski was substituted for Witold Bycofski. After 66 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Black Remi. 69 minutes into the game, Olgierd Brack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. André Onana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, U21 Poland's André Onana got control of the ball when Olgierd Brack tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to ACe Aimaro Juniors getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dawid Dabrowski hit a great ball. ACe Aimaro Juniors made a substitution. Agustin Belo replaced Lech Czaplicki. After 78 played minutes ACe Aimaro Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Dabrowski. In the 79th minute, Black Remi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute of the match Lucas Maguire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Onana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Jakub Kuszczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Kuszczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Kamilo Glik got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
