Bogdan Udrişte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Šair Lihovac made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, U21 Romania's Bogdan Udrişte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Šair Lihovac. Šair Lihovac yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 44th minute, Dorel Râmniceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 50th match minute, Flacara Militari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Melchiorre to maneuver through the defense. Šair Lihovac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Udrişte in the 88th minute of play. Šair Lihovac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Udrişte, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Flacara Militari's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
