Brett Hart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tris Ruddock, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tris Ruddock in the 21st minute of play forced Overpower FC's goalkeeper Brett Hart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Real Roma's goalkeeper Drew Knight had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo Werner. Witomir Cichowski got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Reg Weeks. With an all-out effort, Overpower FC's Drew Knight threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Glyn Styles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerome Harrison made a kick off. Drew Knight showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glyn Styles in the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Roma's goalkeeper Drew Knight, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
