In the 3rd minute, Eddy Million got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raymond Foubert came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SILMONT's Jules Gangloff. But to his dismay, Jules Gangloff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcel Lemahieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Raymond Foubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrice Marsonet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddy Million in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe Jardel to maneuver through the defense. Eddy Million struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Patrice Marsonet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roncourt. Eddy Million succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 23rd playminute. With a little luck, SILMONT's Patrice Marsonet got control of the ball when Eddy Million tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of SILMONT booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Baudino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Marcel Lemahieu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Roncourt's Raymond Foubert. Raymond Foubert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Eddy Million sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrice Marsonet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Lhermite. After the first half SILMONT were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddy Million to strike the kick off in the second half. Herbert Martineau lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SILMONT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Patrice Marsonet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Million in the 58th minute of the match. SILMONT's Patrice Marsonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Kapar in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Marcel Lemahieu got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lv Xiao Zhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roncourt's Jarod Castillo was substituted for Romuald Benaissa. The supporters of Roncourt booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Jardel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marcel Lemahieu hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Thierry Lhermite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute J.P. Kapar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philippe Jardel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Lv Xiao Zhi made a precise shot to the right of Patrice Marsonet. SILMONT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Lv Xiao Zhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Lv Xiao Zhi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roncourt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 88th minute Lv Xiao Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Marsonet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Lv Xiao Zhi made a precise shot to the right of Patrice Marsonet. SILMONT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Roncourt's attentive Alex Baudino managed to snatch the ball when Philippe Jardel made a throw-in in the 98th minute of the game.

Roncourt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
