Phil Panther scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulus Rusandi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Barr Point were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamie Mayfield to make the kick off. Arul Zumardi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Phil Panther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulus Rusandi having to interfere. Ecep Djorghi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Syd Knott. Barr Point's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
