After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Feliks Klejnowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brow Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliks Klejnowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Madej breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Majorski in the 10th minute of play forced Brow Team's goalkeeper Sylwester Pieprz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Feliks Klejnowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiang Hao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Pieprz having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Brow Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Adamus came free, but Sylwester Pieprz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrzej Wawro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Madej having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Jiang Hao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpia Koło and the Brow Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brow Team's Korneliusz Ciempa was substituted for Herbert Witwicki. After 25 played minutes Olimpia Koło got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Hao. In the 32nd minute, Almants Spicbergs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kazimierz Debowy to strike the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olimpia Koło would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
