A collision led to Chard United getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lukasz Jazwiec hit a great ball. Santos Santio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Eugen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Eugen in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Santio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19thth minute of the game Bailey Kerns who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chard United's Santos Santio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Steele came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Chard United's Luis House. But to his dismay, Luis House quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Santos Santio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey Kerns in the 25th minute. With an all-out effort, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Santos Santio threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexandru Eugen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peter Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Arthur in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Bailey Kerns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Chard United's Santos Santio got control of the ball when Bailey Kerns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Steele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Cuevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Chard United made a substitution. Dalton James replaced Florian Sadlowski. The wind increased when Alexandru Eugen made the kick off in the second half. Luis House kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Alexandru Eugen put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Santos Santio. Santos Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Randall, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Santos Santio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandru Eugen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Chard United booed when PALMEIRAS-UTAH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Eugen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Eugen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Santio saved Chard United from getting behind. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute PALMEIRAS-UTAH were awarded a corner. Vincent Sandström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chard United's goalie and right to Jorge Pirani. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chard United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lamar Arthur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Peter Steele made a huge save. With a little luck, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Peter Steele got control of the ball when Lamar Arthur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Andre Randall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Cuevas in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ace Gallardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chard United's Lee Cuevas got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Tristan Alford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Santio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.

The PALMEIRAS-UTAH players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
