In the 6th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Hemphill to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Fedor Hauser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ämmer Sportfreaks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Airlines the free kick. A collision led to Ämmer Sportfreaks getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fedor Hauser hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Jonah Ryan got a free kick in the 8th minute. Alwin Känel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Skinner having to interfere. Dale Skinner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Hauser, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Alwin Känel made a precise shot to the right of Dale Skinner. American Airlines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alwin Känel in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Skinner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Korey Reed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Roman Mehrtens made a huge save. Jonah Ryan took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Mehrtens. Roman Mehrtens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 43rd minute Wilber Sweeney suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. American Airlines made a substitution. Trinidad Khan replaced Wilber Sweeney. In the 45th minute, Jonah Ryan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Jonah Ryan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Mehrtens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jonah Ryan might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Mehrtens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonah Ryan ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Mehrtens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonah Ryan in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Alwin Känel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dale Skinner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Lyuben Karavelov fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Airlines's protests and gave Lyuben Karavelov a yellow card for diving instead. Lyuben Karavelov hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Wicky in the 72nd minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Dale Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rainier Salaar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Dale Skinner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Ryan in the 77th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, American Airlines's Dale Skinner got control of the ball when Rainier Salaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alwin Känel in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dale Skinner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Dale Skinner managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, American Airlines's Dale Skinner got control of the ball when Alwin Känel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes American Airlines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alwin Känel who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ämmer Sportfreaks eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
