The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lech Spychalski during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lech Spychalski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Argider. In the 18th minute, Milosz Lichniak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Valente to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Juan Hvalica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Slawomir Cholewa was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Munio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Astral fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Astral's Dominik Sowa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute, Alexis Santos made a precise shot to the right of Slawomir Cholewa. Astral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

Apolo Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Sowa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Cholewa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
