Radu Jder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Geovanni Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovanni Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Jder in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Radu Jder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 22 minutes, Radu Jder made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. SC Conceição's Geovanni Peres tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dumitru Bădila acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Fabiano Maia. SC Conceição's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Maia in the 28th minute. Ernest Bornescu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Inácio Lago came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dumitru Bădila could save by the left post. When FC Oltul Slatina's Radu Jder in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 42 minutes of play, SC Conceição's Carlos Jardel made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Bădila was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Olimpiu Demian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olimpiu Demian to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Conceição's Inácio Lago pulled a muscle in his back after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Matei Mârza fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Oltul Slatina's protests and gave Matei Mârza a yellow card for diving instead. SC Conceição's Edgard Ribeiro was substituted for Inácio Lago. Matei Mârza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Maia took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Bădila. Dumitru Bădila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 66th match minute, SC Conceição was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Senna to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes FC Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Horea Vrejiu. Dumitru Bădila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Edgard Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dumitru Bădila was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Dumitru Bădila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Ribeiro went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. If Carlos Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Mârza kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Bornescu in the 82nd minute of play forced SC Conceição's goalkeeper Geovanni Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Demian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Geovanni Peres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Conceição could leave the field as winners, despite FC Oltul Slatina having more of the ball for most of the match.
