In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botafogo MZRJ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remigiusz Chwalkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Project Nemesis's players had a chance to rest. Maurício Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Férid Khalifa made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Miromir Chmelyk sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Murillo Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamil Grabara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Juvenal Camargo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botafogo MZRJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Project Nemesis the free kick. In the 14th minute, Juvenal Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Couto in the 21st minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Kamil Grabara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Chmelyk in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Férid Khalifa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Murillo Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Chmelyk. In the 36th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Miromir Chmelyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Férid Khalifa. Botafogo MZRJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Chmelyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Férid Khalifa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miromir Chmelyk in the 43rd minute. Matías Brasil took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamil Grabara. Kamil Grabara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Férid Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Chmelyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's Miromir Chmelyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Férid Khalifa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Matías Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Project Nemesis's Miromir Chmelyk made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Férid Khalifa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Project Nemesis made a substitution. Zenon Nocny replaced Hubert Wilk. In the 62nd match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Férid Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Chmelyk in the 63rd minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Miromir Chmelyk made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Botafogo MZRJ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Juvenal Camargo hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's Miromir Chmelyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Férid Khalifa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sidónio Miranda was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Férid Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Miromir Chmelyk came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Project Nemesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Chmelyk couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper Férid Khalifa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Miromir Chmelyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Project Nemesis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Kamil Grabara was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Gilmar Couto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilmar Couto really showed his touch with that goal: 6-2.
