GeRaÇãO-83's attentive Sílvio Luiz Velloso managed to snatch the ball when Abarrotz Varela made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Cristoforo Taranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Couto in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinon Kazakopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaspar Castan in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gaspar Castan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guto Jacinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Didi Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Taranto having to make a save. Cristoforo Taranto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Jie Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Nueva in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Couto came free, but Cristoforo Taranto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Nueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Nueva in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Taranto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as UNITED's Ulises Nueva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guto Jacinto. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

UNITED made a substitution. César Xavier replaced Ulises Nueva. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Xavier made a kick off. The supporters of UNITED booed when GeRaÇãO-83 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, UNITED's goalkeeper Cristoforo Taranto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ren Jie Fan. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, César Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but César Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Xavier in the 63rd minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haşim Akdemirci's late challenge caught a GeRaÇãO-83's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haşim Akdemirci helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UNITED's Haşim Akdemirci got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Ren Jie Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute César Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto got control of the ball when Ren Jie Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When César Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Xavier couldn't finish the play. GeRaÇãO-83 made a substitution. Robinho Freire replaced Ren Jie Fan. After a rather tough play, UNITED's Yu Bing Sha got a free kick in the 75th minute. UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Couto in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that César Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Jacinto was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. A collision led to GeRaÇãO-83 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Velloso hit a great ball. Abarrotz Varela's late challenge caught a GeRaÇãO-83's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abarrotz Varela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abarrotz Varela to maneuver through the defense. UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save UNITED from getting a goal against them. In the 89thth minute of the game Robinho Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNITED's Cristoforo Taranto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robinho Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Taranto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Robinho Freire's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristoforo Taranto firmly grabbed it by the left post. The UNITED players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
