Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bras Pizarro started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Martin Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goal looked a bit too open when Bras Pizarro came free, but Thomas Runeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Thomas Runeberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Pizarro in the 26th minute of the match. Roberto Pato scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Runeberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Gaby Martínez. When Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mohamed Küdüs in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obrero Barquisimeto's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Christian Lundqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Concellon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Obrero Barquisimeto getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marcos Akerman hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Lundqvist made a kick off. Thomas Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bras Pizarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Pato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Runeberg having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Quetzal Flyers Hammers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Sörman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Pato in the 61st minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Obrero Barquisimeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Akerman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Akerman in the 78th minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Dusett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quetzal Flyers Hammers! Thomas Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Akerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bras Pizarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Runeberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Gaby Martínez got a free kick in the 97th minute. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
