An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Florian Dziatkowicz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 5th minute FC Grodzka were awarded a corner. Eugeniusz Pryputnicki went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ruperto Abad got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marko Drewitz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sylwester Jankowski kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Aureliusz Treppa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Pryputnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A2 IF's Marko Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Jankowski in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Sylwester Jankowski made a precise shot to the right of Marko Drewitz. A2 IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Hägglund during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A2 IF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stig Hägglund hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Grodzka booed when A2 IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Hägglund struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Wincent Drab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A2 IF. Sylwester Jankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marko Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylwester Jankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Drewitz having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Treppa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marko Drewitz, 2-0. If Stig Hägglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sylwester Jankowski made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, FC Grodzka's Sylwester Jankowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marko Drewitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Sylwester Jankowski struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Marko Drewitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Grodzka. In the 56th minute, Aureliusz Treppa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marko Drewitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 60 played minutes FC Grodzka got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Pryputnicki. Florian Dziatkowicz scored 5-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Drewitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Grodzka booed when A2 IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A2 IF's zone, Sylwester Jankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Drewitz came out of the goal and Sylwester Jankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Dziatkowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Hägglund in the 79th minute of play. When Sylwester Jankowski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Grodzka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Jankowski couldn't finish the play. Sylwester Jankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marko Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Billströms short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Wincent Drab to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Börge Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Florian Dziatkowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marko Drewitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florian Dziatkowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Grodzka's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
